Chanel Watkins

Chanel Watkins is a IT Process Analyst, responsible for security compliance leading various applications. Chaneljoined The Boeing Company in August of 2013,  where she continuously leaves positive impacts in leading key efforts across various functional teams, aligning the technology to the business strategy. Chanel spends her free time enjoying family and friends, traveling, reading hot topic blogs, community events, art museums, playing candy crush as well as getting back to church events. Chanel holds her Bachelors of Science in Information Technology from Ottawa University; minor: Human Services and Information Management with graduate certificate in Cyber Security from Washington University Olin Business School. In 2017, Chanel was recognized as a Rising Star recipient for the Woman of Color in Technology organization.  

 Additionally, Ms. Watkins is passionate about helping others and mentoring to reach their full potential.  Even taking a back seat, Ms. Watkins has the ability to captivate attention and motivate/mentor young girls in high school by maximizing their full potential while volunteering to assist and support the St. Louis Metropolitan Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. – Delta GEMS Educational program for the past 5 years.  Ms. Watkins devotes mostly every Saturday to the Near South Side Coalition assisting with teaching basic computer courses, promoting awareness for the Give Back Campaign, providing administrative support to organize billing and inventory within Quick Books to support the program execution activities led by the Executive Director. Recently, she was appointed the opportunity to scout various Boeing leadership on ways of being more involved for various internal/external events surrounded by diversity and inclusion.

 Ms. Watkins serves as Co- Chair for Community Service in the Boeing Women Inspiring Leadership group where she and many others are actively in the community on monthly basis at various voluntter sites. Within the Boeing Company Ms. Watkins is continuously making her mark by leveraging her ideas with the strategy team of a St. Louis homegrown profession group, i.e.  “Bridging the Gap” by captivating ways of helping individuals close any barrier gaps within their careers. Previously, Ms. Watkins served as the Community Service Co Chair for Boeing Black Employee Association – Community Service, Ms. Watkins has successfully lead various community service and diversity inclusion events.
